SNOW, Hanna Elisabeth Molgaard Snow

November 27, 1946 - December 21, 2025
SNOW, Hanna Elisabeth Molgaard Snow

She was ontario, at the age of 79, at home in the arms of her adoring daughter Dana and daughter-in-law Joanne, on December 21st, 2025. Hanna was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on November 27, 1946, and came to London, Ontario in at the age of 7.

Her love for children drew her to the London Teacher’s College, and upon graduation she embarked on a rewarding 35-year teaching career.Β Mrs. Snow was highly respected by her colleagues, the subject of many schoolboy crushes, and revered by thousands of students throughout Brantford and Paris, who battled to hold her hand every recess until she retired to jetset around the world.

Her final chapter was spent with Dana and Joanne on Lake Scugog, surrounded by cats and bunnies, admiring the wildlife and enjoying an impressive social calendar, featuring live music (especially any Brandi Carlile concert within an 8-hour drive), Blue Jays games, dancing like nobody was watching, and singing along to whatever music was playing… whether she knew the words or not!

Her radiance and sense of humour will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her – she was the light of every room, the life of every party, and always up for any adventure. Her love, generosity and compassion was magnetic, and she warmly welcomed Dana’s lifelong best friends Val, Paul E and Paul S as her bonus children, with open arms and her famous smile.

Glamma Hanna’s playfulness and nose-booping will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Julian & Jenna, Denver, Azalea, and great-grandbabies Luna and Evelyn. Aunt Hanna will be sorely missed by Lisa & Dale; Rick, Liz, Jack & Marcus; Preben & Deborah; Ralph & Denise; Mariann & Larry; and Lisa & Pat. Predeceased by loving husband Bob; parents Klara and Kristian; and siblings Simon (Linda); Edith; Ivan (Marion); Steve; and niece Susann.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday January 3, 2026 at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry (905-985-7331) at 12p.m. with visitation beginning at 11a.m. Livestream access will be available for those unable to attend in person. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held. Internment to follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby. In lieu of flowers, donations made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Society, or the Humane Society would warm her heart and honour her generous spirit.
