PANACCI, Sofia Rose “Fia” Panacci

PANACCI, Sofia Rose “Fia”  –   At home on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the age of 87.

Beloved wife of the late Peter.

Fia was born in Toronto to parents, Matthew, a fine artist, and Sue, a longtime Toronto Star employee.

She grew up in Little Italy and was employed with the Household Finance Company before she and Peter set up house in Mississauga in the early 1970s.

For 49 years, they enjoyed get-togethers with family, friends and neighbors. They loved to laugh.

Fia is lovingly remembered by her close-knit cousins, including the Ascione, Cinanni, Elia, Fazzari, Morello, Panacci, Perfetti and Tomaiuolo families; sisters-in-law, Mari-Anne Tomaiuolo (late Frank) and Delores Cavaliere (Tony); and many nieces, nephews and their families.

A special thank you to Norman as well as the Doane family for their friendship and compassion.

Family and friends are invited for Visitation at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 921 Flagship Dr. (at Tomken Rd.), Mississauga, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Toronto.

Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
