SPOONER, John Gordon Spooner

Our dearest John passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, on his 11th wedding anniversary with his loving wife Jane. Cherished father of Barb, Paul (Christy), and Christina. Adored Papa of Daniel and Marissa. Dear stepfather of Jason and his family. Brother of Glen, Janine (Arnold), Neil, and Diane. John will be greatly missed by Jane’s family.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather, husband, stepfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. His sense of humour would fill the room with laughter and joy. His great pride was the 5+ years he spent as a driver for the Children’s Aid Society. He loved music, the Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Lions, *The Big Bang Theory*, *Chicago One* shows, *NCIS*, and his wife Jane.

If you so desire, memorial donations in John’s name may be made to the Children’s Aid Society of Windsor & Essex County.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please refer back to the website for updates.
