ST-PIERRE , Yves St-Pierre

The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday July 26, 2025 at the age of 67 years. Son of the late Maurice and of the late Jacqueline (née Martin). Loving stepfather of Tina Gibson (Jason) and Steve Gauthier. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Cassandra, Cory, Hunter and his niece and nephews Megan Cushing, Alex Gilchrist, and Ryan Gilchrist. Dear brother of Carole Gilchrist (Gary).

Yves was a dedicated worker at the Au Chateau Home for the Aged where he enjoyed helping the residents until his retirement. In his leisure time he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. Along with enjoying sweets he would also make sure not to miss his daily coffee time with his close friends. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the nurses of the VON, the community PSWs, the Palliative NP, as well as Dr. Janique Vandal.

The family will receive friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Friday August 8, 2025 for visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life in the funeral home.

Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal Crematorium, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Northeast Cancer Center, Sudbury or the West Nipissing General Hospital (Cancer Center) would be greatly appreciated.
