STADNIK, Krzysztof Zbigniew Stadnik
January 10, 2026Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Krzysztof Zbigniew Stadnik passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 72, after a courageous nine-year battle.
Born in Poland, Krzysztof was the beloved son of the late Zbigniew and Maria Stadnik. He was the devoted husband of Maria for 46 wonderful years and a loving father to Sylwia (Colin), Magda (Jeff) and Barbara. He was the proud and cherished Dziadzia of his two granddaughters, Celina and Izabella.
Krzysztof was predeceased by his sister Marta Kluska (Bogdan). He is survived by his sister Katarzyna Stadnik (Arek) of Germany. He was a loving uncle to Dominka, Kasia, and Michał, and will be fondly remembered by the Radomski family, along with many extended family members and friends in both Canada and Poland.
In 1982, Krzysztof and Maria immigrated to Canada from Poland to provide a better life for their family. Krzysztof worked for many years as a truck driver – a profession that was not only his livelihood but his true passion. He was known as a hardworking and dedicated man.
In his free time, Krzysztof found joy in music, especially country music and oldies, and took great pride in planting trees and creating a beautiful garden at his family home.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Extendicare Oshawa for their compassionate care and love shown to Krzysztof over the past eight years. Special thanks are also extended to the team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their kindness and care during his final moments.
Visitation will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday January 20, 2026 from 1 – 3 pm and 5 – 7 pm. Parish Prayers will be held at 7pm followed by family eulogies. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Hedwig’s Polish Catholic Church, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa on Wednesday January 21, 2026 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.
