STAFFIERE, Mrs. Maria Maddalena Staffiere

Passed away peacefully at Baycrest Hospital on Thursday March 5, 2026 at the age of 77. Wife to Angelo (predeceased) of 57 years, loved and remembered by her daughter Carmela (Charlie) and sons Michele (Linda) and Sandro (Mariella). Cherished Nonna to Rosa (Christian), Emily, Daniel, Samantha, Alessandro and Michaela, and great grandmother to Lorenzo.

Born on March 20, 1948 in Monteleone di Puglia, Italy, she married the love of her life in 1965 and immigrated to Canada in 1967 for a new and better life. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandson endlessly. She fought a long, difficult battle with cancer, continuously wishing for more time with her loved ones. She is now able to rest peacefully.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Staffiere family at Highland Funeral Home, Scarbrough Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East, West of Warden Avenue on Thursday March 12, 2026 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, 3200 Pharmacy Avenue, North of Finch Avenue East on Friday March 13 at 11:30am. Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane, off of Don Mills Road, South of Steeles Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in the name of Maddalena Staffiere.
