STAINTON, Scott Herbert Stainton

Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at his home in Little Britain, at age 79. Loved father of Melanie Stainton of Cannington. Loving grandfather of Taylor. Dear brother of Wayne (the late Daphen), Reid (Clare), Cathrine (Dave) Ballingall, Bryan (Joan) and Bruce (Gail). Scott will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, Stacey (Andrea), Tara (Danny), Ross (deceased), Vicki (Graham), Annette (Gabriel), Tracy (Jason), Corey, Jordan, Shannon (Binh), Brittany and great nieces and nephews, Dustin, Cotey, Joseph, Teghan and Tessa. He was predeceased by his parents Angus Lewellyn and Velma Cathleen.

The family of Scott Stainton will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, January 29th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
