BROADHURST, Stephen Douglas  –  Suddenly, after a short battle with cancer, at his home in Mississauga, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the age of 66 years.

Steve will be reunited with his beloved wife of 28 years, Bev Jones.

Steve and Bev grew up in Nobleton as childhood friends, but after university found their romance.

In addition to sharing an esteemed career together, they were most inseparable, and the perfect compliment for each other.

He is the son of Marj Broadhurst and the late Vincent Broadhurst of Nobleton; and son-in-law of the late Anne and Ken Jones, of Nobleton.

Brother of Dale (George) Orfanakos, and Carol (Andrew) Minialoff; and brother-in-law of Stan (Jo-Anne) Jones, and Doug (Janice) Jones.

Cherished uncle of Matthew Orfanakos, Dustin (Darcy) Minialoff, Nicole (Marc Potvin) Minialoff, Kimberley (Jason) Matheson, Stephen Jones, Spencer Morris, Taylor Morris, Ryan (Katherine) Jones, Darren (Sarah) Jones, and Brandon (Amanda) Jones; and great-uncle to twelve great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his close family, Steve leaves behind his business partner, Paul Ambler, and their award winning team at RE/MAX Professionals, his numerous colleagues, and a wide circle of friends.

Steve enjoyed his time at the cottage on Go Home Lake, where he often entertained and was known for hosting great parties.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Foundation.
