It is with great sadness we announce the passing of David Stevason at the age of 38.

Dearly beloved son of Doris and Cyril Freake

Brother of predeceased Rita Globe (Graham) Ryan Stevason (Stacey) Uncle to Raine Globe, Adriana and AJ Stevason

Loving nephew of Mary and Ed Peldiak, predeceased Sal and Alice Vinco.

Leaves behind his cousins, Eddie and Chris Peldiak.

Truly loved by his grandparents predeceased Doris and Dominic Vinco.

David was an avid WWE wrestling enthusiast. He was so thrilled when he met some of his wrestling idols.

David was very passionate about music.

He joined the band The Myzt in 2010 as their talented guitarist and backup singer, with Rita Stevason as bassist/lead singer and Graham Globe on drums. He attended daily practice sessions and learned a setlist of the band’s original songs in two weeks to perform with the band for Band Warz 2010, a local band competition in Oshawa, Ontario. He participated in recording a demo disc with the band which they distributed exclusively at their Band Warz performance.

Visitation will be held at Courtice Funeral Chapel, located at 1587 Highway #2, Courtice, ON, L1E2R7, Canada, on January 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue on January 22, 2026, from 10:30 am.

The Committal Service will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby.
