STEVENS, Delbert Gerald Stevens

Del passed away peacefully on Connell 3 at KGH after a long struggle with many health related issues, on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Del is survived by his devoted loving wife Barbara (Keir), daughter Caitlin (Graham), brothers Bruce (Wilma) and Wayne (Carolyn) and sister Laurie.

Del was predeceased by mother Lillian (Kavanaugh), father Silas, twin brothers Terry and Lawrence and his best buddy Louie (dog).

Del was once told “life is short so make it a good life.” Del’s life was cut short but he always believed he had a good life.

Del will always be remembered by his kindness, generosity of his time, his sharp wit and punchy comebacks. He had strong family values and an incredible work ethic. He always remained a staunch Maple Leaf fan.

As per Del’s wishes, there will be no wake or funeral.

The family would like to give a big thank you to the kind, caring, compassionate nursing staff of Connell 3, Dr. Bal, Palliative Care Team and MAID team.
