STOETZEL, Neil Gordon Stoetzel

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Neil on December 25, 2025 at the age of 80. He will be missed by his dear friend and mother of his children, Dianne. Loving father of Monique Stoetzel (Gary), Chad Stoetzel (Laura) and Lisa McNelis (Bryan). Cherished grandfather of Devon, Kionna, Hayden, Nakeisha, Kyle, Ryleigh, Nicholas, Aidan and Liane.
Great grandfather of Aria, Ivan, Lyla, Syah and Shiloh. He will be missed by his fur babies Tiffany and Bella. Predeceased by his loving mother Katherine Stoetzel “Kay” and his sister Joyce Kokoshki.

Neil worked for the District School Board of Niagara for 30 + years. Neil continued to work at many places over the years, as well as travelling to many countries, creating many friendships and always leaving an imprint on those he met. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and laugh wherever he went, as well as his sense of humour.
Neil’s family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A celebration of Neil’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11 o’clock. For those unable to attend the service, it will be live-streamed on Morse & Son’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/morseandson), commencing at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
