SUIDGEEST, Trudy Suidgeest

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Trudy Suidgeest Dewildt predeceased by loving husband Albert Suidgeest and daughter Yolanda Suidgeest. Trudy was a women of boundless energy and intelligence. She was born on October 8,1930 in the Netherlands and transitioned out of this life on March 31 2026.

Through her journey of 95 years, she touched many lives with her wisdom, humor and an unwavering spirit of perseverance.

Trudy Suidgeest passed away with loving family and friends at her side at the Milton District Hospital. Much loved mother of Dennis Suidgeest. Loving grandmother of Mykcala Breann and son Ares. Many thanks Family and friends John Vos, Randy & June Plant, Han & Ineke Vandenenden and special thanks to the staff at the Milton District Hospital for their care of Trudy.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home 114 Main St. E. Milton from 2 – 4 pm on Thursday April 9, 2026. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 139 Martin St., Milton on Friday April 10, 2026 at 10 am. The Burial Service will take place after the Mass at  Milton Evergreen Cemetery, 230 Ontario St.S. in Milton. A Reception will follow the burial back at Holy Rosary Parish Hall.

Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (please see the donation link below) or to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.  Letters of condolence, shared stories and memorial donations may be left for the family at the Funeral Home.
