SYLVESTRE, Wendy Sylvestre
July 18, 1966 - November 4, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Wendy Sylvestre. Wendy passed away on November 4th, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep compassion.
Born on July 18, 1966 from Tecumseh, Wendy was known for her radiant smile, her caring heart, and her ability to make others feel seen and valued. She had a vibrant spirit, loved music, and was always ready with a listening ear or a warm hug. Wendy gave the best hugs and never skipped an opportunity to pull you into her embrace. She made special connections with animals, namely birds and her cat Lolo. She fiercely loved her family and beamed with pride anytime her kids were mentioned. Wendy was also a fantastic cook and her famous pasta sauce recipe is unmatched.
Wendy faced life’s challenges with courage and honesty. Though her journey here ended too soon, we take comfort in knowing she has been reunited in heaven with her beloved son, Branden (1990), whom she missed dearly.
She is lovingly remembered by her parents Leonard and Elaine Sylvestre, her sister Carrie, brother Derek (Michele), and her children Kasaundra Ingolfo and Nicholas Ingolfo (Aimee). She shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Ayva and grandson Lorenzo, and was looking forward to meeting her next grand baby this coming December. She was a loving aunt to Kayla Masse (Steve) and Jessyca Danyluk (Jay), and adored great-aunt to Mila, Hudson, Brielle and Jack. Wendy was so loved by a large extended family and so many special friends who will forever cherish her memory and the joy she brought into their lives.
Memorial visiting Monday November 10, 2025 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday November 11, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westover Treatment Centre in her memory.
Although she is gone from our sight, Wendy’s light will continue to shine through all who knew her. She is finally at peace, embraced once more by her son, surrounded by everlasting love.
