TABER, Gertrude Eliza Taber (Wray)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gertrude “Gertie” Eliza Taber in Peterborough on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the age of 87.

Gertie was the loving wife of the late Fred Taber (2006) and a cherished mother to Jeff Taber (Sue), Steve Taber (Melanee), Charlie Taber (Ruth Ann), Julie Andrews (Ken), and Victoria Bingley (Tom).

She was a devoted grandmother to Jessica (Marc), Michelle (Bella), Amanda (Adam), Michelle (Jake), Sarah (Mike), Rebecca (Justin), Erin (Derek), Kate (Morgan), Jon (Jess), and Fred (Kendra), as well as a proud great-grandmother to Sophie, Mason, Brody, and River.

Gertie is predeceased by her brothers Howard, Joey, and Alf, and her sister Laura.
