Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Donna-Marie was the daughter of Angela and Luigi Marconato. Donna-Marie proudly earned her nursing degree at the Sudbury Regional School of Nursing, and later continued her education at the University of Windsor, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While at the University of Windsor, Donna-Marie met her loving husband of 45 years, Mark.

Donna-Marie was also a beloved mother to Natalie and Carolyn (Sean) and a cherished grandmother to Vivienne. Donna-Marie was a devoted sister to Robert and Dario.

A northern girl through and through, Donna-Marie loved spending time up north. Music was one of her greatest joys and Donna-Marie especially loved psychedelic classic rock. Donna-Marie had a fantastic sense of humour and was a voracious reader.

She lived a life marked not by grand gestures, but by countless quiet acts of service and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
