TAYLOR, John Stanley Taylor

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, brother, and friend, John Stanley Taylor, on July 1, 2025, at the age of 54.

Dear father of Damian Ladouceur, Samantha Landry, and Mandy Taylor (Adam). Former husband and forever friend of Jocelyne. Loving Papa to Landon, Adrian, Lukas, and Nikolas.
Son of the late Gary (2021) and Susan (2016) Taylor. Loving brother to the late Tammy (2024), the late Tommy (1991), Jackie (Sam) Danko, and David.

Adored uncle to nieces Zoey-Lynn (Sean), Lisa Marie, and Nicole, and nephew Josh (Skye). Lifelong friend to Terry Smith and special friend to April.

John was the biggest Red Wings fan, often coaching, refereeing, and “commentating” from his favorite spot in front of the television. He treasured his time up north in Parry Sound on the family property—boating, camping, barbequing, and making S’mores around the campfire.

He loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally and never stopped mourning the loss of his beloved mother. John worked at Chrysler for 19 years, known for being a skilled handyman with a heart of gold—always ready to help those in need. Anyone who knew John, loved him.

Memorial visitation will be held at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
