Sharron Joyce Taylor, known fondly as Joyce, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, in Straffordville, Ontario after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Tilbury, Ontario, Joyce’s warmth and vivacity brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Lee Roy Taylor and numerous beloved family members. She leaves behind her son Trevor (Linda) Taylor, daughter Rachael (Abe) Wall, grandchildren Cassandra, Carol, Leeah, and Hunter, great-granddaughters Lilly and Delilah, her sister Patricia, brother Rick (Pat), and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Joyce dedicated her professional life to banking and retail, serving communities in Tilbury, Port Burwell, and Straffordville. She was a passionate community member, notably as a Girl Guide Leader and founding treasurer of the Straffordville Community Committee. Her interests included reading, shopping, spending time with grandchildren, and caring for her beloved pup, Roxy.

Visitation will take place at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at the same location on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM with interment at Straffordville Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
