TAYLOR, Lindsey Anne Taylor
March 8, 1967 - May 12, 2025
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Lindsey Anne Taylor, who died suddenly on May 12, 2025, at the age of 58, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, following a ruptured brain aneurysm.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Lindsey moved to Canada at the age of eight and built a life rooted in love and unwavering strength. Her two children, Max and Samantha, were the center of her world—her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Lindsey made everyone around her feel grounded. She was funny, fiercely strong, and a steady anchor to those she loved.
Lindsey lived an active life and loved escaping to sandy beaches and sunshine whenever she could. But more than anything, she cherished time spent with her kids.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Max and Samantha McKee; her father, Craik Taylor, and stepmother, Lynne Purvis; and her five siblings: David, Beverley, Ross, Karen, and Joanne. Lindsey was predeceased by her beloved mother, Anne Davies.
A Celebration of Lindsey’s Life will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are welcome to arrive any time after 10:00 a.m. to gather and share memories.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the dedicated paramedics and medical staff at St. Michael’s Hospital and Ajax Pickering Hospital for their exceptional care and unwavering compassion. A special and sincere thank you to Dave from Toronto Paramedic Services, whose extraordinary kindness and support went far beyond the call of duty. His presence brought comfort on the most difficult day, and his actions will never be forgotten.
Lindsey’s life was a gift to all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
