TESSIER , Laurette Ayotte Tessier

It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Laurette Ayotte (née Tessier) in Sturgeon Falls at the age of 72 years old surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Gédeon and of the late Alice (née Godin). Beloved wife of the late Denis. Devoted mother of Gilbert (Ashley) and Jacques (Mélanie). Cherished and loved Memère to Kloey, Cédric, Courtney, and Ryan.

Laurette was a kind and caring sister to Marie-Ange (late Richard), Yvonne (Guy), and François (Réjeanne). Predeceased by her siblings Paul (Colette), Maire-Louise (late Michel), Pauline (late Armand), Madeleine, and Dollard (late Nicole).

Her passions included her family, her faith, and tending her beautiful plants and garden which was a reflection of her nurturing spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Laurette’s legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
