TESTANI , Italia Testani

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mom, Nonna, Bis Nonna and matriarch, Italia Testani. She passed away peacefully at the age of 97 surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 20th, 1927, Italia lived a long and meaningful life rooted in family, tradition and unconditional love. She was the devoted wife of Elio Testani, who passed away in 1977. Though she carried the loss of her beloved Elio for many years, her strength, resilience, and deep love for her family guided her through each day.

Italia is survived by her children; Angelo, Mary (Henry), Lori, Joe and Reno. Cherished Nonna of Sandra (Mark), Steven (Sandra), Marco (Jessica), Adam (Vanessa), Andrew (Katie), Felecia (Carlos), Anissa (Michael), Evan, Gabriella (Chancey) and Angelika. Loving Bis Nonna of Joshua, Zachary, Sarah, Eliana, Carina, Mason, Sophia, Tessa, Mackenzie, Milo, Mila and Guardian Angel Elia. She is survived by her sister Maria, sisters-in-law Lina and Sonia, and many nieces and nephews.

Italia lived for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family – cooking meals, sharing stories and dancing with those she loved. She had a quiet strength, a warm heart, and a deep sense of devotion that touched everyone who knew her. Her strong faith was the foundation of her life. It carried her through times of joy and sorrow and gave her a deep sense of peace and purpose. Her belief in God shaped the way she lived – with grace, humility and compassion for others. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured, taught, and loved so deeply.

She will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
We love you Nonna, “when we sleep and when we get up”.
