She was a loving mother to Karly (Marco) and Christopher (Patti), and a cherished Nanny to Quinn, Harper, Oakleigh, Zoey, Owen, Maci, and Noah. Mary-Anne will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings Paul, Patricia (Grant), Judy (Rick), Maria, and Fred (Pat).

She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Phyllis Potticary, and her brother Michael.

She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, colleagues, and the countless friends she made throughout her life.

Mary-Anne was known for her generous spirit, her ability to make others feel welcome, and the laughter she brought to every gathering. She had a kind heart and a warm smile that could brighten anyone’s day. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her family, whether celebrating milestones, enjoying simple everyday visits, or surrounding herself with her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.

Visitation for Mary-Anne will be held on Thursday September 4th 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4. A service in the chapel will occur on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:30am at the Oshawa Funeral Home In lieu of flowers the family are kindly asking for donations to the Sick Kids Foundation.
