HALKAI, Tibor Halkai Obituary

HALKAI, Tibor – Passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Central West Hospice at the age of 84.

This loving, caring and courageous man fled his native Hungary during the Hungarian Revolution to start a new life in Canada. Predeceased by his wife Maria and his parents, Tibor and Gabriella.

His memory will be cherished by his loving family Marianna Halkai, Errol Halkai and Chris Halkai (Jennifer) and by his 5 grandchildren Kyle Roots, Ryan Halkai, Evan Halkai, Ella Halkai and Wyatt Halkai.

The Halkai family would like to extend their thanks to the comfort and care provided by the staff at the Central West Hospice.

Friends are invited to visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Monday, December 28th from 11am until the time of a Funeral Service being held in the Pinecrest Chapel at 12pm.
