TILEY, John Tiley

Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System – Wiarton on January 11th, 2026. Born in Toronto on September 18th, 1943, John Robert Tiley of Shallow Lake, was in his 83rd year.

Beloved husband of Nancy Tiley (nee Sprung) of Shallow Lake. Loving father of Mark Tiley and Bradley of Shallow Lake. Cherished grandpa of Shea Kielly, Jake Kielly, Alec Tiley and Ella Tiley. Dear brother of Janet. John will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Robert and Molly Tiley.

John proudly served in the Air Forces and following that he served for the Ontario Provincial Police for over 30 years as a staff Sargent protecting and supporting the public. He was the most active Gramps and never missed a sporting event of his grandchildren’s.

In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
