TIMBERS, Linda Timbers

Passed away peacefully at Port Perry Place on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the age of 78. Linda leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Gord, and was the proud mother of Donna (Greg), Grant (deceased 2020), Glen (Angela), and Bonnie (Dave). She was a very caring grandmother to Glen, Stephen (Chanel), Corey, Ian (Tori) and twins Riley and Connor, and cherished great-grandmother to Alistair. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family and many dear friends.

Linda spent over 30 years as a dedicated school bus driver in the Uxbridge and Goodwood area, where she was known for her kindness generosity and cheerful spirit.

She loved bowling and swimming, and was a creative soul, crafting, and teaching ceramics, folk art, and stained glass and anything else creative.

She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome — her door was always open, whether someone needed a meal, a place to stay, or simply a listening ear. Linda was passionately creative, endlessly thoughtful, and “a mom to many.” Her family takes comfort in knowing that her warmth, generosity, and love will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.

A service to celebrate Linda will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street S., Uxbridge (905-852-3073) at 1p.m. with visitation beginning at 11a.m. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held. Linda will be laid to rest at the Goodwood Cemetery. A livestream of the service will be made available for those who cannot attend.
