TKACHUK, Ernest George Tkachuk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest George Tkachuk: cherished husband, father, and friend. He went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at the age of 82 years old, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his loving spouse, 6 children and 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ernest was a top Home-Builder, alongside his father, with the Tkachuk Construction Company in the greater Hamilton area. He also served as a CBCO in several Eastern Ontario Townships. He was highly respected among all his peers, and excelled in assisting homeowners with their Construction needs. Ernest also served in various Christian Ministries, alongside his wife, including inner City outreach, Federal Prison Ministry, as well as Chapter President within the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship, in Canada. His family takes great comfort that he has been lovingly welcomed into Heaven. We hold fast to God’s promise that we will see him again one beautiful day.

Psalm 92: 14-16

Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.

He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will rescue him and honor him.

With a long life I will satisfy him

And let him see My Salvation.

The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin, on Friday from 2-4 and

7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton.
