TOBIAS, Maria Idalina Tobias

She went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2025, in Kelowna, BC. Maria is survived by her daughter, Didia do ceu Moutinho Araujo and son, Albano Augusto Araujo; grandchildren Ricardo Elkhouri, Jean Claude Elkhouri, Serge Elkhouri, and Isabella Araujo. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Manuel de Jesus Araujo, and her beloved son, Jorge Manuel de Jesus Araujo.

Maria passed away peacefully in the presence of her daughter and is now reunited with the Lord. She lived a long and full 94 years; it was full of love & laughter, and she was always surrounded by family. Her loving family takes peace knowing that she has been reunited with her son, husband, and mother (whom she never got to meet).

Thank you to the nursing staff at Glenmore Lodge, Maria thought of you as her family, you were all close to her heart.
