She was predeceased by her husband Walter, her parents Alex and Dorothy, as well as her brothers and sisters — Mary, Steve, Violet, Mike, Billy, Johnny, Lena, Rosie, and Peter.

She was a loving mother to Debra (Jim, predeceased) and Mark (Deb).

Cherished Baba to Tracie (Shawn), Aaron (Kelly), Sarah, Nicole (Geoff), and Rebecca.

Proud old Baba of Shayne, Dylan, Logan, Ashlin, Mason, Avery, Gabriella, and Callum.

Olga lived a full and joyful life. She loved to travel, enjoyed trips to Florida, going on cruises, visiting casinos, and playing bingo. A fabulous cook, she was famous for feeding everyone who came through her door — always adding “a little more butter and salt” to make things just right. Her rhubarb-strawberry pies were a family favorite.

Olga had a lifelong love of animals and always kept dog treats on hand for any four-legged visitors. She enjoyed sewing and was known for making matching outfits for her granddaughters. She also loved playing cards, especially Hola and Poker. She was always ready for a good game and a good laugh.

With the support of her children and grandchildren, Olga was able to maintain the life she loved.

In lieu of flowers the family are kindly asking for donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Canada or Covenant House Toronto

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th, 2025 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario, L1J 2L4. A service in the chapel will occur on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 at 11:00 am At the Oshawa Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in the chapel at Resurrection Cemetery located at 355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, Ontario L1R 3L4
