Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the age of 95.

Mom was born in Saborso, Yugoslavia on September 4, 1930. She is predeceased by her parents Jure and Maria Spehar, her sisters Jaga, Rosa, Berta and Anna.

We take great comfort knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Tomasz. Mary is survived by her children Barbara (Ralph), Rosemary (Anthony) and Frank; her grandchildren Krystyna (Drew), Krystal (Matthew), Anthony Jr., Paula (Connor), Olivia (Matt), Grace; her great grandchildren Daniel and Graham.

Mary and Tomasz were married on September 14, 1957 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Mary was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and sewing. Her most precious and treasured memories were time spent with her family. She will be forever missed, and her family will hold the memories created in their hearts.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Parish (208 Prentice Avenue) with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (27 Fourth Line East). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Family Parish.
