Obituary for Marion Margaret Trotter

After a brief illness, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, Marion Margaret (née Bradley) passed away in her 88th year.

Formerly of Kingston and most recently of Port Perry, Marion now joins her beloved husband, Richard “Dick” Trotter (2016). She was predeceased by her brother, George Bradley.

Marion was a loving stepmother to Kim Testa (Emilio) of Uxbridge, Kelly McArthur (Dan) of Pontypool, and Scott Trotter of Belleville. She was also a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews, especially Cathy Bradley and Carol Olsen (Jim).

A dedicated and passionate educator, Marion spent her entire career teaching at various schools throughout Ontario. She and her husband, Dick, also shared a love for horses, particularly in Standardbred racing.

Service Details:

As per her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private interment at Harlem United Church Cemetery will take place at a later date.
