TUCK, Margaret Tuck

Passed away peacefully at Port Perry Place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the age of 90. Born to Margaret and Mervin Tuck, Joan grew up in a loving family home where she lived with her parents until 1976. She then made the decision to move into Port Perry Place, which became her home for the rest of her life.

For many years, Joan led a full and active life within the Port Perry Place community. She enthusiastically took part in nearly every activity offered, volunteered throughout the home, and even enjoyed traveling whenever the opportunity arose. As she grew older, she gradually eased back from her once-busy schedule, but she never stopped finding ways to help out where she could—even up until just a few weeks ago.

Joan especially loved playing cards and board games, and this was her favourite way to spend time with the family members and visitors who came to see her. She will be remembered for her bright positivity, thoughtful nature, gentle kindness, and wonderful sense of humour. Joan made the very best of the life she was given, always striving to do as much as she was able.
Joan is lovingly remembered by her sister Pat Gibson (Ted), her nephew Steve Gibson (Nance), her niece Pam Gibson, and by her grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that she touched many lives with her warmth, resilience, and joyful spirit.

Funeral services will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry (905-985-7331) on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 1p.m. with visitation for one hour prior.
