Peacefully at Brockville General Hospital on Monday August 25, 2025. Dorothy (Russell) Tye of Athens, formerly of Lyndhurst, in her 85th year. Widow of Buss Tye. Loving mother of Mike (Rhonda) of Elgin, Patrick (Jennifer) of Lyndhurst, Mark (Kim) of Seeley’s Bay, Tammy (Mark) Edgley of Athens. Dear sister of Margaret Shurtliffe of Roblin and Art Russell of Kingston. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Tanya, Michelle, Colin, Brock (Patience), Karen (Joe), Becky, Hunter, Olivia (Kyle) and great-grandchildren; Marissa, Liam, Samara, Rayne and Kaliope. A Private Family Service will be held in the Chapel of Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin. Interment Olivet Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
