ULRICH, Pauline Margaret Ulrich
November 18, 1936 - January 25, 2026
Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and quiet strength that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pauline was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Richard Ulrich, with whom she shared a life rooted in family, commitment, and care. Together, they built their family home 66 years ago—a place filled with warmth, memories, and love. Pauline was deeply determined to remain in the home she and John built, a testament to her independence, resilience, and deep attachment to family and home.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Sharon (Eric) and Richard (Stephanie), and her cherished grandchildren, Alicia, JD, and Mariza who brought her immense pride and joy.
Pauline was born on November 18, 1936, in Belleville, Ontario, to the late Irene Elizabeth and Frank Edward Cannons. She was predeceased by her brother James Cannons, and is lovingly remembered by her surviving brother Roy Cannons (Betty), as well as her sister-in-law Darlene Cannons.
Pauline lived a life defined by selflessness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She will be remembered for her warm heart, welcoming nature, and gentle presence, always making others feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. Her kindness and generosity of spirit touched many lives, and her memory will live on in all the people she encountered.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU nurses at St. Michael’s Hospital for their compassionate care during Pauline’s final days, as well as to her devoted personal support workers, Ziba and Tia, from St. Elizabeth, whose kindness and dedication meant so much to Pauline and her family.
Pauline will be deeply missed and forever remembered, held close in the hearts of all who loved her.
