UNGURAIN, Gary John Ungurain

It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved father, Gary Ungurain, went home to be with the Lord on January 23, at the age of 71.

While our hearts ache in his sudden absence, we rejoice in the promise that his long-awaited journey into Heaven has been fulfilled. Gary lived a life grounded in faith, trusting fully in Christ and sharing the gospel with anyone willing to listen. His love for the Lord shaped the way he lived, the way he loved, and the way he served others.

Gary had a deep passion for music, using his God-given talents to worship and glorify Him. Above all else, he treasured his role as a father to his four children — Peter, Madeline, Mitchell, and Katey — and as a loving grandfather to his six grandchildren — Aidan, Ashton, Aubrey, Alexander, Isla, and Natalia; He was a devoted brother to Steven Ungurain, a caring brother-in-law to Laurie-Lynn Ungurain, and a proud uncle to Ryan and Bayley Ungurain. His faith, kindness, and steady presence will continue to live on through them.

Though we mourn his passing, we find comfort in the words of Scripture and the assurance that we will one day be reunited. Gary has finished his race, kept the faith, and now rests in the eternal peace of God’s presence.

A Funeral Service celebrating Gary’s life will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place at Corbett Funeral Home on the same day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A private Family interment will take place at a later time. Family and friends are invited to join us as we honor Gary’s life and give thanks for the hope we have in Christ.
