On May 15th 2025 Theresa Ann Marie was reunited in heaven with the love of her life for over 50 years; Lesley William Vail.

In her 81st year surrounded by family, Theresa peacefully departed from us.

Loving mother to Michelle and Michael (Mary). Doting Grandma to Michael Shane and Melissa.
Adoring Great Grandmother, or GiGi as they called her, to Seth and Mason. A dear friend and neighbour who expressed her love not in flowery words but in the small gestures.

Quick to lend a hand, an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean or to cry on. Or better still a hearty home cooked meal. Food was Theresa’s love language.

Theresa is predeceased by her parents William and Regina Beelen as well as brothers John and Peter. She is survived by her sisters Mary, Annie, Christine, Johanna, Henrietta (Fred) and Margaret.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the compassionate care shown to Theresa.

In keeping with Theresa’s wishes the family requests that in lieu of flowers; a donation be made to the Salvation Army , the Palliative Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, The Lung Association, or another charity of your choice choosing.

Visitation will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from1:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m., a Reception will follow the service.
