Surrounded by the love of his family, Robert passed away peacefully at the age of 83, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025,
at West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls.

Robert was the beloved husband of Madleine Vaillancourt (née Dubuc), and loving father of Diane Vaillancourt,
the late Guy Vaillancourt, and Brian Vaillancourt. He was a proud grandfather to Roch, Sophie, Calvin, Montana, and Lucas,
and great-grandfather to Noah and Mia. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Alma Gelinas (née Vaillancourt).

Predeceased by his parents Hormidas and Bertha Vaillancourt (née Robidas), and his sisters Thérèse (late Léonard Piette) and Constance (late Johnny Roy).

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors at West Nipissing General Hospital,
as well as Dr. Breton, for their dedication and compassion.

The family will receive condolences at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7 at Sacré-Coeur Church in Sturgeon Falls,
followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal Crematorium in Sturgeon Falls.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation.
