It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Valder, who left us peacefully at the remarkable age of 101. Doreen is now reunited with her beloved husband, Manny Valder, who predeceased her. She leaves behind her cherished children: Shelley and Allan, and Paul and Deborah. Doreen was a devoted grandmother to Jessica and Tyler, Sarey and Craig, Vanessa and Jeff, Paul and Kristy, and Stefanie and a proud great- grandmother to Brody, Nolan, Lincoln, Jamison, Maverick, Charlotte, Tea, Xander, and Peyton. Loved by everyone who met her, Doreen will be remembered for her sharp sense of dry humour, her warmth, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her presence was a gift, and her legacy of love and laughter and the importance of family will be carried forward by her family. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff at Langstaff Square for their compassion, dedication, and exceptional care during Doreen’s final days.
