He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Elizabeth (Rowand) and Roy Merrill Vallie; and his brother-in-law Ray Martin. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Schoeck); his children, Lori Vallie of Waterloo, Janine Vallie of Waterloo and Evan Vallie of Hanover; his grandchildren, Connor, Casey and Sofia; and his siblings, Donna Voisin (Ray) of Waterloo, Mary Ann Barrett of London, Norma Martin of Walkerton and Charlie Vallie (Carol) of Crawford.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rhody Family Funeral Home (65 4th St SW, Chesley, ON N0G 1L0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Bruce Trail Conservancy would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
