VASAVADA, Kaumudi Vasavada

Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 after a short illness on January 17, 2026.

She is predeceased by her devoted husband Shirish Vasavada to whom she was married for 63 years, and is survived by her daughters Ulupi and Unnati.  She will be missed by her sisters and extended family in India, the UK, the US, and Canada.

Kaumudi’s strong will and determination were admired by all who knew her.  Her ability to work hard and persevere served her well throughout her life, especially when she moved from her home in India to Switzerland as a newlywed, and then again when she started over and settled in Toronto with a young family.  She faced each day with unwavering faith.

May she now rest in eternal peace.
