Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 18, 2025, Valerie Ann Vepy of Courtland passed away at the age of 78 years. Loving wife of 58 years to her husband Victor. Caring mother to Kim Scott; Jennifer (John) Gyulai. Grandmother to Johnathan, Jordan, Nicole and Ryan. Aunt to David Cupples and Stephen Cupples and their families. Valerie loved to golf in the summer and could be found spending time at the curling rink in the winter. Evenings were filled with the camaraderie of playing cards. As her family and friends say their farewell, they do so with hearts full of gratitude for the time shared with such an extraordinary woman. Her memory will be cherished. A memorial visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Saturday January 3, 2026 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A Memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel following the visitation at 1:00pm. Pastor Scott Mabee officiating.
