VISSER NEE, Janke Jane Visser nee

In God’s time, the Lord took to Himself our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother in her 92nd year at Shalom Manor in Grimsby. She was the loving mother of Margaret (Henry) van Iperen, Jan (Marian) Visser, Jim (Judy) Visser and Florence Czok. She was the caring grandmother of 16 grandchildren and loving great grandmother to 37 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Anneke (Miendert) Dykstra of Australia. Also much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her brothers Sietze, Wolter, Roel and Henk and sisters Renske, Geertje and Siep. Special thanks to the staff of Shalom Manor for their wonderful care of our mother for the past 7 years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at VINEYARD CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH OF LINCOLN, 4628 John St. Beamsville, where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. Interment will precede the Service at Smithville Union Cemetery at 10 a.m. Rev. Marc Jagt officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations to Shalom Manor or Anchor Christian Homes would be appreciated.

As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place know it no more. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him and his righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments.
