KINDERMAN, Viviane Renée (Bronner) Kinderman Obituary
KINDERMAN, Viviane Renée (nee Bronner) – (July 2, 1937 – October 10, 2015)
Born in Eaubonne, France, Viviane immigrated to Canada in 1955 at the age of 18, accompanied by parents René and Stanislawa (née Lis) Bronner and younger brother, Jean-Marc Bronner. Her much admired grandmother and inspiration, Jadwiga Lis, followed one year later.
Her Papa always called her “Vishou” while her loving brother affectionately called her “Kisdou”. Viviane attended the Université de Montréal for linguistics and later earned her doctorate in Ottawa.
While working in the Laurentians she met a handsome man who asked for a dance and never let her go: The love of her life, Gustav Anton Kinderman (dec. July 17, 1994). Our Mamie Vivi was always surrounded and adored by her loving family: Her daughters, Kristina Cassar and Nathalie Kinderman; her son-in-law Jon Cassar; her grandchildren, Alexis (Sprague), Zak, Kyra, Cassidy, and Caroline; and great-grandson Benjamin as well as her family in Canada, France, and Germany.
Vivi shared her love of life, worldwide travel, fine dining, and copious amounts of red wine with many! Her generosity was felt by all who joined in her life’s journey.
Her great ambitions, hard work, tenacity, and feistiness led her through many successful careers with the CBC, the National Sports & Recreation Centre, Transcomm, and the Government of Canada.
Vivi’s unrelenting passion to inspire and bluntly tell you exactly what you needed to hear left the largest mark on those who knew her well. Her legacy will live on forever. Vivi taught us well! Live life to the fullest, take chances, help others, have no fears, believe in yourself, and move forward… C’est la vie!!!
Visitation will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Friday, October 16th from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. The funeral will be held at Paroisse St-Remi on Saturday, October 17th at 11:00am. 2821 Dumaurier Ave., Ottawa, Ontario.
In honour of her generous spirit and in lieu of flowers we encourage donations to the following charities: Christie Lake Kids or Dress for Success – Ottawa Chapter.
