VLEUTEN, Adam Van der Vleuten

Unexpectedly passed away on December 11, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 48.

Beloved son of Mary Van der Vleuten (Ken Cain) and the late Toon Van der Vleuten. Adam will be fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Canada and the Netherlands. His presence will be sadly missed amongst his many friends.

Adam was a gifted artist and photographer. He had an extraordinary eye for beauty and detail and was able to capture moments that told stories and preserved memories. He enjoyed being out with people especially if there was some live music and dancing. He loved regaling folks with stories of past adventures and comical events.

He loved laughter!

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation.
