VOLLAND , Ruth Ann Volland

Volland, Ruth Ann of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was 85 years old. Beloved wife of the late Robert « Bob » Volland. Cherished sister of Jim Timpany (Audrey), and sister-in-law to Donna Timpany and Sandra Timpany. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her son Rob, daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Danielle, Christian, and her brothers Hugh, John and Harold. Born in Bayham Township on June 23, 1940, daughter of the late Murray and Eileen (Moore) Timpany. Ruth Ann was a hairdresser who cherished the friendships she built with her clients over the years. She and Bob shared many wonderful memories traveling together on trips and cruises.

A funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation-burial: Calton Cemetery. Donations to the Aylmer Area Community Foundation would be appreciated.
