We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Erwin “Wally” Waldinsperger on August 29 2025 with his beloved Daughter Tracey by his side. Adored Grandpa to Kassi, Nik and Kurtis. Loving Brother to Karin (Peter), Peter (Debbie), Michael (Shirly) and Lisa

He will be fondly remembered by Crystal. He was predeceased by his parents Nikolaus and Marie, Sister Helga and Brother Ralph Wally will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, and the countless friends he made throughout his life.

Wally embraced life with energy and joy. He had a passion for skiing, camping, golfing, and spending time boating. Known for his vibrant personality, he loved a good party, pranks and being surrounded by loved ones. Wally Cherished his family — especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and lasting memories. The family would like to thank Sam and the staff from Chartwell Wynfield Retirement Home and Bloom retirement community as well as the team at AgeCare Samac, he adored the PSW team as they did him.

In lieu of flowers the family are kindly asking for stories – sweet, silly and inappropriate, that can be shared and written in the Book of Wally the day of the service. Donations can also be made in Wallys name to the Heart & Stroke foundation or to the charity of your choice.

A service in the chapel for Wally will occur on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 10:30am at the Oshawa Funeral Home. located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4
