WARD, Rita Ward

Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Ward; her parents, Arnold Demers and Olive Demers; and her siblings, Doreen Ferguson (late Gerry), Pauline Beaton (Carl), Frank Guay (late Lorraine), Hugh Guay (Dorothy), Larry Guay (Bev) and John Guay.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ann Turcotte (Paul) and Joe Ward (Natacha); her grandchildren, Ryan (Keanna), Kayla, Cole, Halle (Justin) and Jojo; and her siblings, Wayne Demers, Danny Demers (Jody), Maureen Stencell (Larry), Cecil Guay (Liz) and Winnifred Monk (late John). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Columbkille’s Cathedral (188 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A6X1).
