WELLINGTON, Robert John Wellington

A resident of Charing Cross, Robert Wellington passed away at the Riverview Gardens on May 31, 2025 at the age of 92.
Born in Chatham, Robert was the son of Walter and Ruth (nee Rumble) Wellington.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Darlene Robertson and sister Margaret (the late Gerald Johnson). Survived by daughters, Carrie Formosa (Mario) of Charing Cross, ON and Sharon Pengelly (Bill); son Rodney Wellington; grandchildren Colleen (Chris), Ian (Stacie), and Corrina (Roland); 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair St, Chatham on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 6:00–8:00 pm. Funeral service to be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
