Passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 20th, 2026 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

Dear father to Cathy and loving “Poppa to Andrew (Sarah) and Jenna (Corey). Beloved husband to Joanne, her son Randy (Stephanie) and their children Hope and Raya. Predeceased by his daughter JoAnne, late wife Phyllis his brother Ron; his parents Alice and Norman and his wife Joanne’s son Cory.

Jerry lived his life to the fullest the last 5 years with his wife Joanne. She encouraged him to travel and he really enjoyed his winters in Florida. He especially enjoyed his monthly breakfast with his GM retiree friends.

When reminiscing, Jerry could remember what decade he was referring to by what kind of car he had at that time.

Jerry will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Family and Friends are invited to Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division Street N on Sunday February 1, 2026 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm for a celebration of life visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be mad to a local food bank.
