At home on February 6th, Harold passed away peacefully. He was the beloved husband of Pamela, loving stepfather of Christopher (Jennifer Williamson), and a cherished father-figure to Elanna (Dave Silvester). He was a caring Papa to Hayley and Alexander Williamson, and Colten Silvester.

An introspective and gentle man, Harold was a Master Mason and deeply committed to his church and faith. He had a lifelong love of sports, both as a participant and an avid observer. In his younger days, he owned and flew a plane, was a longtime member of The Summit Golf Club, and enjoyed alpine skiing. A devoted reader, he knew most of Georgette Heyer and W.E.B. Griffin’s books by heart.

The family would like to extend special thanks to his PSW Peyton and Nurse Gina for their care and kindness, as well as to his longtime NP, Sheri Devereaux, for her exceptional support.

Celebration of Life: Christ Memorial Church, Oshawa, on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 am, followed by a reception.

The family encourages attendees to wear bright colours in Harold’s honour. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christ Memorial Church or Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre would be greatly appreciated.
