WIELINGA, Wiebren “Bill” Wielinga

It is with a profound sense of sadness that we announce the passing of Wiebren (Bill) Wielinga,
who went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 7, 2025, at the age of 90.
He was born on November 21, 1934, in Burgwerd, The Netherlands, and immigrated to Canada in 1957.

Bill was the loving husband of Klaaske (Kathy) for 62 years. A dedicated employee at General Motors in Oshawa for 37 years,
he leaves behind four children: Henry (Linda), Ingrid (Ted), Arlene (Neil), and Evelyn (Rob),
as well as 10 grandchildren: Emily (Chris), Brittany (Steve), Joshua (Ashton), Kathleen (Dan),
Nathan (Madeleine), Matthew, William, David (predeceased), Mackenzie (Channing), and Laura (Lucas),
along with 9 great-grandchildren.

A devoted and cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Bill’s legacy of love, faith, and service
at his church and in the community will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
