June 24, 1933 - February 2, 2026

With sadness, we announce the passing of Emilie on February 2, 2026 at the age of 92 surrounded by her family at home. Reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Franz (June 16, 2011). Cherished mother of Ingrid (Silvestro Sestito) and Erna (Pasquale Vitullo). Beloved grandmother of Joseph (Dawn), Sophia (Jessica), Frank, and John (Julianna) and proud great-grandmother of Eevi, Oakley, Emilio and Arianna. Emilie will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 3-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Friday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Emilie will then be laid to rest with her husband at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Caledonia Rd.).
